A Message From Our President
JUAN DE LA CRUZ
In the past year, our organization has made significant strides in expanding equitable access to healthcare in the communities we serve. We have achieved remarkable success in increasing our reach and impact in our community.
- Our initiatives have increased patient access to essential healthcare services, demonstrating our commitment to making healthcare accessible to everyone.
- Our human resources have been pivotal in this journey, with a dedicated team working tirelessly to implement innovative solutions and partnerships.
- We’ve invested in technology to streamline operations and improve patient outcomes.
- The Charitable Foundation had a robust financial performance growth with a revenue of more than $13 million, reflecting the growing demand for our services.
As we look to the future, we remain focused on our mission to provide equitable healthcare access to all, regardless of socioeconomic status. We are committed to continuous improvement and collaboration with stakeholders to address the evolving needs of our communities.
These initiatives will not only improve access to healthcare but also empower patients to take control of their health. We believe that by embracing innovation, we can create a more equitable healthcare system that benefits everyone.
Innovative Healthcare Solutions
Our robotics program provides surgeons with alternatives to both traditional open-heart surgery and conventional laparoscopy, putting a surgeon’s hands at the controls of state-of-the-art robotic platforms, enabling surgeons to perform even the most complex and delicate procedures through very small incisions with unmatched precision.

Events
The 2024 Golf Classic and Gala raised more than $1.1 million* to expand access to care in East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights and Montebello.
2024 Golf Classic
Supporters teed off for health on April 1 at Friendly Hills Country Club. Co-chaired by board members Nick Mosaquites of U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management and Executive Chef Bret Thompson of Pez Cantina and Pez Coastal Grill, every swing at the tournament was a pledge to a healthier future.
Gala 2024
With the theme of "Hope of Our Community," supporters gathered at the historic Vibiana on October 20. Under the leadership of Gala co-chairs Lizette Carbajal, Vice President of Community Relations and Communications for Telemundo 52 and NBC4, and Efrain Escobedo, President and CEO of the Center for Nonprofit Management, we honored Beverly Hospital’s legacy of care in Montebello while sharing a hopeful vision for Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello’s future.
*This total represents the combined funds raised through both Golf Classic and Gala 2024, as well as grant support for the Healthcare Workforce Development Program, reflecting the collective generosity of our donors and the success of these philanthropic efforts to support expanding access to care.
