2023 Golf Classic

The 2023 Golf Classic was held on May 1 at the Porter Valley Country Club. Co-chaired by board members Sean King of PepsiCo and Frank Robinson of U.S. Bank, the event supported the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center.

Golfers Henry Casas, Joe Angel Zamora, Angel Sotelo and Kevin Periman showcased exceptional skill, with their team clinching the low gross award. Not to be outdone, Jeanette Fahey, Bob Cogley, Tom Fahey and Mark Steel claimed low net honors with a remarkable -17 (53) team score.

The day ended on an emotional high note when Mr. Johnny Chavez, a local East Los Angeles cancer survivor, shared his heartfelt story of the lifesaving, compassionate cancer treatment he received at the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center. He reminded everyone of the hope and healing their charitable giving brings to real people in our community.
