17th Annual Candle Lighting Ceremony Little Angels of White Memorial

Little Angels of White Memorial Candle Lighting Ceremony.Little Angels of White Memorial held its 17th Annual Candle Lighting Ceremony on October 15, 2024, in observance of Baby Loss Awareness Week. This annual commemoration provides bereaved parents, family members and friends a chance to remember their babies and pregnancies while connecting with a global community that understands their grief.

As part of “The International Wave of Light,” families and supporters worldwide lit candles on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m., creating a chain of light that spanned time zones, honoring and remembering loved and longed-for babies. The resulting glow united hearts across the globe, a symbol of shared sorrow and enduring love.

Little Angels of White Memorial’s mission is to bring emotional, spiritual, physical, and social healing to families touched by the death of a baby, while helping sustain family unity.

“This program is supported by the hospital associates, and without them, it would be next to impossible to support our grieving community,” said Ingrid Suarez, Nurse Residency Program Manager and Little Angels Program Manager.

Thanks to the generous support of associates, Little Angels was able to provide candles, tissues and other supplies for this moving ceremony. Your contributions helped create a space of remembrance, compassion and healing for families navigating profound loss.
