You Made Thanksgiving Special for Seniors Your generosity extends hope!

Turkey Day EventYour generosity made it possible for nearly 200 seniors in our ¡Vive Bien! Senior Wellness Program to gather on November 13, 2024, for a Thanksgiving luncheon at Adventist Health White Memorial. The day was filled with a sense of community, joy and renewed hope.

Attendees enjoyed a traditional turkey meal with pumpkin pie, while games and door prizes brought extra moments of joy. Volunteers and staff from the Community Resource Center worked tirelessly to ensure everyone felt valued.

Many seniors — who are members our Community Resource Center — live alone, missing out on social time and emotional support. What is more, some seniors struggle with food insecurity and have limited access to health and well-being resources, such as exercise classes and help with insurance enrollment. However, your kindness provided them with nutritious food as they enjoyed the social connection of a shared meal.

Thank you for your generosity.

Your Gift Doubles the Impact!
Your support is more critical than ever in this season of giving. Seniors and families in our community rely on the Community Resource Center to live healthfully and stay connected. But we can’t do it without your help. Right now, the Adventist Health White Memorial Charitable Foundation board of directors will match every dollar you give, doubling your impact.

Make your gift now and bring hope to those who need it most.
